Haven, or Cabin Six at Cedar Beach Resort, is a two bedroom, one full bathroom (including shower), fully furnished wood cabin with a new kitchen and modern appliances. It sleeps five, and bedding is supplied. Amenities include coffee-maker, microwave, toaster, TV, blender, cable, high-speed internet access, a BBQ, parking for two cars, a CD player, and a DVD player. There is a woodstove for use in the winter months. The resort has a pay washing machine and dryer for general use, up by the Office. We highly recommend a winter retreat here! It is very peaceful and yet very comfortable. It goes without saying, that summers are a blast as well. Book early!

Haven (Cabin 6) is one of 12 privately-owned cabins, located at Cedar Beach Resort on St Mary Lake, the largest lake on Salt Spring Island. Each cabin is distinctive from the others, reflecting the cabin owner’s personal tastes and preferences. Over the past years Haven has been extensively renovated from being a simple one-bedroom panabode, to her present state: a proud two bedroom, one bath, and full kitchen year-round abode. There is a cosy wood stove for the deliciously peaceful off-season, and a big deck and BBQ for the busy, family-oriented summer months.

Cedar Beach Resort is unique on Salt Spring Island for having not only access to a terrific, quiet, fish-stocked, motor-vessel-free lake, but also a newly renovated pool and new hot-tub, a sandy beach, a swimming raft, a dock, a horseshoe pit, and canoes and rowboats for guest use. The resort is ideally set up for weddings, family retreats and corporate get-aways as there is a reservable Beach House with a lakeside view, full kitchen and chest freezer, a small dance floor, a TV, and indoor and outdoor seating. Summers are busy-- it is a very family-friendly place to be. Winters are deliciously calm and restful. Perfect for a girls weekend away, an art retreat., or a romantic get-away.

Ganges is the closest major town and has all the amenities of urban life including two grocery stores (Thriftys and Country Grocer), three bookstores, four coffee shops, countless restaurants, art shops, jewelers, a high-end hardware and home decor store (Moatts), fashion outlets (Moatts clothing), a famous Saturday Market (during the summer), an indoor swimming pool, playgrounds, liquor stores, a vibrant theater and music center (ArtSpring) and many art galleries including the not-to-be-missed CraftSpring (open during the summer and featuring the work of a wide selection of local artists).

A ten minute walk from the cabin is the island’s only movie theater– the Fritz.
